Join Sue Woodd and Tina Hedrin on a 8-Day / 7-Night Seasonal Yoga Retreat. Forming half of a 100-hours YACEP yoga alliance training for 200/300-hr teachers to learn how to teach seasonally. This is also a stand-alone retreat for people who want to learn more and deepen their personal practice.

This retreat / 50-hour training meets all 5 of Yoga Alliance’s educational categories, which include:

  1. The overall concept of Seasonal Yoga and the study of the 6 seasonal changes which affect our organs, diet, energy, emotional and mental states.

  2. Yoga-based and Qigong practices and techniques appropriate for each season: the element asanas, energy-based movement, seasonal eating, breathing techniques and mudras.

  3. Study of anatomy and physiology (Western and energetic): learning about muscles, organs, chakras, nadis/meridians, pressure points, specific movement patterns and asanas.

  4. Yoga philosophy, lifestyle and ethics: learn how to design a seasonal Yoga Nidra, experience meditation and mindfulness sessions and learn how to teach health and wellbeing from a seasonal perspective.

  5. Learn how to plan and teach a seasonal yoga class or structure your own seasonal yoga practice.

  6. Experience and develop age-appropriate teaching skills including the Body Clock Flow to enhance the flow of energy during the circadian cycle.
