WHAT IS SEASONAL YOGA?

Seasonal Yoga in both its content and course structure makes yoga an integral part of our life. It follows and respects the traditional yoga teaching format - where a student continually evolves over the years by learning from the same yoga guru, in order to be a fully qualified and more experienced yoga teacher.

Unlike most yoga teacher training schools, (which require 4-weeks of intensive training) Seasonal Yoga takes place over 12 months, with weekend modules every 3-4 weeks. Its aim is for students to fully integrate their yoga practice into their daily lives and to incorporate the teachings from each module with the seasonal changes taking place around them.

WHY TAKE A YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE?

Sue Woodd 200-Hour Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training Surrey Teacher

Deciding to take a yoga teacher training course is not only reserved for qualifying yoga teachers. A yoga teacher training is a course of personal development and self-inquiry. It is an intensive and supportive environment to deepen your yoga practice and to teach you how to develop a regular self-practice of asana, meditation and pranayama. Ultimately a yoga teacher training course is to understand how to use yoga as a tool to enhance and balance your life.

A yoga teacher training goes far beyond what you could learn in a class or workshop. This 200-Hour Seasonal Yoga Teacher training is the required foundation course for anyone wanting to teach yoga.

This can be followed by a 300-hours Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training (the minimum requirement to become a 500-hour advanced yoga teacher recognised by Yoga Alliance).

IS THIS YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE RIGHT FOR ME?

Yoga is a lifestyle and a tool to balance and improve our physical, mental and emotional health. Seasonal Yoga teaches yoga in a practical, modern way. With 1 module every 3-4 weeks, it allows students the time to practise the module teachings (e.g. asana poses and meditation techniques) whilst fully incorporating what has been learnt into daily life and to gradually build up teaching experience. Seasonal Yoga’s aim is to make yoga a manageable and habitual part of their students daily life, as well as to provide the knowledge for students to confidently teach yoga by the end of the 12-month 200-hour yoga teacher training.
