A set of 6 full-day workshops exploring the seasonal influences and elements within Qigong and Taiji Ch’uan. Ch’uan means the supreme ultimate fist, to have your power, health and mind within your grasp. Included is in-depth advanced seasonal information and how to apply this to your daily life.
The inner wisdom of these traditions are thousands of years old, the movements and practices are constantly changing from generation to generation and yet everything is directly applicable, right now, to modern life in the 21st century.

In order to receive the course completion certificate, you must complete all 6 modules. These can be completed at any time in the future as the course will be running again.

Each module will include:
Chi mobilization exercises notably to harmonize the yin and yang and release tension.
8 Qigong moves for each season enhancing health and the flow of energy to the organs.
Relative Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles and mind training techniques.
A series of different sets of Health Qigong each season.
Taiji principles, applications and how to work with and balance the 6 elements.
Sections of the Short 24 Yang Style Form, which can be practised by applying the seasonal theories.
We also cover the mental and emotional influences which can be positively strengthened by mindfully moving the body. You will have the opportunity to master some of the intricacies of a movement technique that is both classical and modern, simple yet profound, absorbing and satisfying. By the end the practice you feel relaxed both mentally and physically refreshed.
We shall also be looking into the Taoist philosophy behind the practices. This is a great course to advance your learning and you have time between each module to use the recorded and written material to consolidate your personal practice.

About Sue Woodd:
Sue Woodd has been working in the field of Complementary Medicine for the past 25 years, founding her own school in 1991. She is a senior registered T’ai Chi Union and a Level 5 Master Instructor with the International Taiji & Qigong Federation and a graduate of the College of Cranial Sacral Therapy.
